Not at all. The Mosel is a very calm, slow-flowing river — thanks to its series of barrages, the current is barely noticeable. Paddling upstream requires only slightly more effort than going downstream, making it perfectly manageable even for beginners.
No prior experience is needed. Our kayaks are stable and beginner-friendly. We provide a short safety briefing before you head out, so you’ll feel confident on the water in no time.
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting wet, and bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen). Water and snacks are a good idea for longer tours. We provide life jackets for all paddlers — wearing one is mandatory throughout your trip — as well as waterproof bags to keep your belongings dry.
That’s entirely up to you. Most paddlers enjoy a 2–4 hour trip, but you can go at your own pace. We’ll give you a verbal overview of the route and any key landmarks before you set off.
Light rain is no problem — it’s actually quite refreshing on the water! In case of thunderstorms or strong winds, we’ll reschedule your booking at no extra charge.
Absolutely. We provide a waterproof bag, so your valuables stay dry even if things get splashy. The Mosel offers some beautiful scenery — don’t forget to capture the moment!
Yes! Children are very welcome. Paddlers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak. A life jacket is mandatory for all paddlers regardless of age — we provide them in all sizes, including for young children.

Remich is a small town that has way more to offer then alcohol and cheap tobacco.
The Mosel promenade of Remich is a nice sight and so is it from the water, its Mosel ships are interesting too.
If you pass with the kayak, you will be able to see its massive amounts of ducks and geese that are nesting and swimming mostly in Remich and Nennig.
Du Port is a lovely Restaurant / bar style place which offers good food and local wines.
The building can be easily accessed using the entry of the port de plaisance Schwebsingen.
Start your Morning with a good brunch or finish your day with some excellent food and a satisfying Ambiente.
Consider 2 hours to get there and back from the Pickup location.
